5 Apps to Help You Get Things Done

5 Productivity Apps

Our devices (iphones, ipads, etc.) have a bad reputation for wasting time and offering a distraction. But I think they can be such a useful tool to stay productive! We have the power to make them into tools that keep us efficient and organized. It's all in the apps we use and how we choose to spend our time. I have a little iPad mini that is my best friend for staying on track and I'm constantly trying out new apps on it to help me get things done faster.

Here's a quick roundup of my current favorite apps for staying focused:

1. Everest | For the Long Term Goals

It's so easy to get caught up in the urgent day-to-day tasks and forget all about longer term goals. One way to make sure these weekly or monthly goals get done is to track them. I love the Everest app because it lets you document the steps you need to make your dreams/goals happen.

2. Due - For Daily Routines and Reminders

How many times a day are you checking the clock, worrying that you're going to forget to do something on your list? Or maybe you have important things you want to do everyday like drinking water, taking vitamins, making phone calls, exercising, etc. but can't seem to remember until it's too late. This app lets you set subtle alerts to remind you throughout each day to tackle those details. Download Due

30/30 - For To-do Lists and Routines

This one has been my favorite for almost a year now. It's basically a to-do list on timers so you stay on task and get work done quickly. I use it for social media, workouts, and quick cleaning the house . Routines that have multiple steps work great with this app. Download 30/30

4. Eisenhower - For Scheduling, Delegating and Eliminating

Maybe you need help knowing where to start or need some help prioritizing. This app helps you remember what to do first, what to pass off to others, and what to avoid altogether. I like how it connects to your calendar so you can schedule the important things right away. Download Eisenhower

5. Unstuck - For When You're Stuck or Unmotivated

This app kind of feels like a counselor on the go. In those moments where you just need a little advice on what step to take next, it helps you move forward and stop procrastinating. I tend to use it when I'm not exactly sure why I'm not motivated. Answering the questions in this app helps me clear my thoughts.  Download Unstuck
